‘Montessori is has been’ is a series of images showing the façades of private schools in Casablanca, featuring architecture that is both playful and strange. Some of these schools are named after white Western figures such as Steve Jobs, Nikola Tesla, or Walt Disney, while others bear names like "Confidence" or "Nobility."

Through this work, Ghita Skali highlights the ongoing influence of Western colonialism through the education system, while also questioning the very nature of education itself.
