In the 8O’s, the king of Morocco Hassan II invented a cardiology machine: The Markar. The archives about the machine are rare and the sources contradict each other. What was this machine like? What was its use? Why do the rare archives mentionned several dates: 1982, 1985 and 1989? Why has the Markar disappeared since then and who remembers it today? How could such an invention fall into oblivion? Who are the protagonists? The invention patent would have been registered in Morocco, France and the United States, but there are no patent proffs of its references found in 1989 press-clippings. In the end, did the Markar really exist?
Taking the form of an animal documentary, this video presents the Markar and tries to penetrate all the mysteries of this tabou-machine, this "uninteresting past that should not be talked about.
